Tiled outerspace backgrounds. “Under Construction” animated gifs. Looping MIDI files. This was the Internet of 1998, and at the age of 12, I wanted to be a part of it more than anything. As soon as I began learning HTML and building my own sites from scratch, I knew that it was what I wanted to do. I coded during the times of strict web-safe colors, iframes, webrings, and table-structured layouts, and I coded through the explosion of Web 2.0... and I’m continually looking to discover where the Internet will take us next.
My fascination with web development and the Internet stems from the fact that it is a place where creativity and possibilities can flourish, but there’s a logical element that challenges the way I think and the choices I make. The Internet provides us with boundaries, and web developers have the opportunity to play around with them.
My dream is to work with a team that provides an environment of continuous learning and exploration of ideas. The best way for me to reach my potential is to continue to take on challenges and seek collaboration with other passionate professionals.
